DEMISE OF EVESHAM TECHNOLOGY
Since pckwikfix was founded in 2005, we have strived to offer the best and most affordable IT Products in our customers' solutions.  Evesham Technology at the time, was chosen to provide Desktops, Servers and Laptops.
Unfortunately, Evesham Technology as a result of numerous market conditions, went into Administration at the end of 2007.  It was eventually bought out by the Time Technology Group companies and pieces of the company were sold off bit by bit.  When the name of the new owner became clear, we at pckwikfix decided not to continue trading with this company as a matter of principle due to Time's previous history in the British Computing Market.  Several letters were written to Richard Austin - the then Managing Director of Evesham Technology - expressing our concern over the state of the new Evesham Technology - but unfortunately, went unanswered.  At the start of 2008, Evesham Technology went into liquidation, and now no longer exists as a company selling computer systems.  Future developments are as yet, unknown.
We would like to ensure our customers that pckwikfix will continue to support Evesham systems we have supplied for the length of the agreed warranty period.  This development in no way has a detrimental effect on the services and support levels we offer.  Evesham Technology was chosen in the first instance for their high quality, reliable products.
Unfortunately, due to the state of the British PC Industry, Evesham Technology is unlikely to be the last British PC company to suffer this fate, which will only reduce options, service and products for customers in the future.

CLOUDMARK ANTI-SPAM PRODUCT RESELLER
As part of a growing demand from customers, we are now resellers of Cloudmark Security Products.  This notably includes their Server and Desktop based anti-spam software.  Part of this software's unique approach to anti-spam is that every message is checked by "fingerprint analysis" - known as Advanced Message Fingerprinting for high accuracy and speed of spam detection.
 
Darren Nichol, our Technical Director says, "One of our clients recently had a high problem with SPAM - in fact, over 25% of their incoming email was SPAM.  Sales Reps on the road with Blackberry devices had a constant barrage of SPAM email and it was restricting use of these devices and hampering their day-to-day activities.  Now, SPAM is caught at the Exchange Server and dealt with in the user's mailboxes, so they can check it at a later date if they wish.
In another example, only one hundred messages have been "unblocked" by users from a total of over 80,000 messages, incredibly low detection rates indeed!"
